When she became pregnant, her future husband gave her abortion pills. He ran away leaving his would-be wife at Sugauli station in East Champaran district. The girl died after consuming the medicine. The incident took place in a village of Majholia police station area of ​​the district.

After the incident, the girl’s mother Rani Devi told that a year ago she had fixed the marriage of her daughter Anju Devi with Vikas Kumar, 21-year-old son of Vijay Shah, resident of Kobeya village of Harsiddhi police station area. He had given two lakh rupees as a gift and a bike was yet to be given. Her marriage was going to happen in the first month. After the marriage was fixed, my daughter and my future son-in-law started talking to each other. Then my future son-in-law Vikas told my daughter Anju that your father is poor. The money for the bike will not be arranged, you come to me. We will get married. Hearing this, my daughter obeyed her future husband and secretly took ten thousand rupees from home and went away with him.

Drugged on the pretext of marriage

Rani Devi told that Vikas used to work as a laborer while living in Kolhapur, Punjab. When my daughter stayed with him for three months, she became pregnant. Then he started pressurizing her to get an abortion and asked her to take the medicine so that the abortion would take place. After this we will go to the village and get married again. Saying this, he fed medicine to my daughter and left for the village. When Sugauli came to the station, he said that you wait here and I will bring you something to eat. My daughter’s health started deteriorating. My daughter searched a lot for Vikas at the station but could not find him. Later it was found that he had absconded.

FIR registered against four people

The victim hired a tempo and reached her maternal home. Seeing the condition of her daughter, mother Rani Devi was stunned and took her to the Community Health Center, Majholia for treatment. Seeing the serious condition, the doctors referred her to GMCH Bettiah. He was being taken to GMCH Bettiah for treatment by his family members when he died on the way. After the incident, Police Station Head Akhilesh Mishra said that an FIR has been registered against four people on the application of Rani Devi, mother of deceased Anju Kumari. The body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. Police is taking further action in the matter.
